What do patients say about you?
My approach of maintaining the patient’s interests at the center of the conversation is well appreciated. Along with offering the standard of care, it’s important to go beyond that and discuss potential treatment plans in a manner that also serves their goals and needs. There are different seasons of life that may require us to focus on different aspects of it and I want to use my expertise to serve their needs first and foremost.
What is the #1 tip you always share with patient families?
One of the most important things you can do is advocate for yourself. You know your experience the best and you deserve a physician who is willing to listen to it, acknowledge it, and value it within the conversation.
How do you spend time with your friends and family for fun?
When not at work, my two toddlers keep me busy. My husband and I try to spend as much quality time with them as possible at home or outdoors. We love exploring new parks or simply spending time outside with neighborhood friends.
What do you enjoy most about New Jersey?
I like the changing of the seasons. I grew up in a region where we didn’t have that, and I really enjoy witnessing the cycle and beauty that comes with it.
