Meet: Concetta Alvarez

Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
I was born in Milan, Italy then moved to Newark followed by Iselin. I have been living in Brielle for 25 Years.

Taylor – 29, Paige – 27, Alyssa – 27, Ashley – 21
One thing people would be surprised to know about you.
I wanted to take voice lessons and study music in college to become an opera singer.
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
My husband, whenever I was uncertain or worried he would always reassure me.
Favorite things to do with your kids?
Anything! As long as I get to spend time with them.

ERS Better Homes LLC is my General Contracting/New Home Building company that I am very proud of! I worked and learned so much when I was in the corporate world that really helped and molded me to become a contender in this male dominated industry. It’s not easy, but I love what I do!
ERS Better Homes LLC is registered as a Home Improvement Contractor (General Contractor) and Home Builder. Concetta started out as an accountant in the corporate world, to working with a residential construction company, to becoming a real estate appraiser and getting licensed as a real estate agent, all helped lead her to this goal as a woman entrepreneur in this industry where we don’t see many woman!
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
Most people who refer me are my clients. Sometimes they’ll mention me in the Facebook groups when people ask for recommendations. Also, I put myself out there in the FB group pages which has helped. In the beginning it was extremely difficult, but one person introduced me to a church member who gave me the opportunity to do their home which helped in moving upwards with my company.
What is your favorite restaurant in Ocean County?
I know this sounds crazy, but I love diners!! Breakfast is my go to, OB and Rainbow I really enjoy!
What is your favorite activity to do with your child(ren) in Ocean County?
When they were younger we would go on the rides in Point Pleasant Beach and walk Arnold Ave (I lived in Pt Beach for 5 yrs before moving to Brielle).
What are your Mom Goals?
To show my adult kids that you can recreate and change whatever you do at any age. Be a risk taker, don’t look back wishing you did it Don’t let your age stifle you to learn more and become more.
