Meet A Mom Monday: Necole Ganley
Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
I was born and raised in Bayonne, NJ. I moved to Jackson NJ with my parents in my teens and I’ve been here ever since.
Child(ren) and Age(s)?
My daughter, Connorday is 21 and my son, Kevin in 17.
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
I would spend my summers and winter breaks in Scotland with my family. I’ve been there 23 times since I’m 6 weeks old.
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
I would definitely have to say my parents. I was pretty young having my daughter and they definitely helped when I had to work or when I needed them for anything.
Favorite things to do with your kids?
We are definitely outdoor beings. We love fishing and being outside together. We definitely love a good road trip!
Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the corporate world? Please share!
I started my business after being let go because of Covid. I haven’t been back to work in a year. I started this company in November of 2020 and just divided right into it. It has taken off from there and I am in 11 stores and opening up my own space May 2021.I am in the process of opening my own space in Asbury park after starting this small business online.
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
I wouldn’t be anywhere right now without the help of my fellow small business people and my family. We wouldn’t be able to supply this business without the wonderful men that go out to sea for these wonderful shells!
What is your favorite restaurant in Ocean County?
Seasons in Howell NJ.
What is your favorite activity to do with your child(ren) in Ocean County?
We definitely love to get to the Manasquan reservoir and walk together.
What are your Mom Goals?
My Mom goals are: to make sure my children are emotionally happy. To show them they can do anything they put their minds to even when situations don’t go as planned.
